Barcelona Museu de la Xocolata

Museu de la Xocolata, the best-smelling museum in town draws chocoholics of all ages to its collection of chocolate sculptures made by Barcelona's master pastissers for the Easter competition. These range from multicoloured models of Gaudí's Casa Batlló to characters from Chicken Run, while audio-visual shows and touch-screen computers help children make their way through what would otherwise be the rather dry history of the cocoa bean. Reserve for the Museu de la Xocolata in advance for weekend chocolate figurine-making courses and lessons in cooking desserts.
